CROCHET PATTERN Magic Hooded Jumper - Hexi granny sweater with hood
DIGITAL DOWNLOAD - PDF TUTORIAL
**This is not a physical item**
This is a *double pattern* - two patterns in one! You can find the jumper and hood patterns separately in my shop (currently undergoing a revamp!). The hood was designed by myself through 15 years of practice as a full time fibre artist and so, you will not find this design anywhere else. I created the jumper to match using the hexi technique and then evolved it over a few years of experimentation and testing.
This is not a traditional crochet pattern, I never set out to write one. You will find a few things here a little different. In fact, this is a tutorial with multiple resources! Super friendly and accessible.
PLEASE READ the document BEFORE attempting to print - it is in three formats - and 121 pages long! It is basically a fully illustrated book.

LONGHAND - Fully illustrated with photo's of every step of the process
SHORTHAND - Fully illustrated too!
PRINTER FRIENDLY SHORTHAND - without photos - at the end of the document
FACEBOOK GROUP - with videos and chat
NO SEW ✨
Accessible to beginners and a fun project for seasoned crocheters
Pattern written in US terminology
Hook size 8mm & 6mm
Yarn weight - Chunky - but made to measure so you can adapt the yarn
[800-1kg / 1500 metres approx

Included in the pattern is a link to a private facebook group with all the answers to FAQ’s, process photos and videos, and general forum chat - I strongly recommend you join this group. I always post in here about updates, plus additional info that might come up; plus we have chats on sizing down the yarn or making bigger sizes, lots of friendly people all making the jumper! Some areas of the pattern can be accessed through videos here, such as attaching the hood and creating the sleeve join.
♥️
The Magic Hooded Jumper crochet pattern teaches you through a fully photographed and described pattern how to make my design.
This hooded jumper that has been in the works here for a few years. A fusion of the Goddess Hood pattern that I’ve developed over more than a decade, and The Crop Wiz pattern, which is based off the popular hexagon cardigan technique, with my own flared or bell sleeve designs.
You can choose a number of different variations including jumper & hood size, length and sleeve styles. It is easy to size up or down and easy to make to your desired length.
This pattern gives instructions to *make to measure* and so does not have traditional sizes.
An easy to follow pattern that includes both longhand and shorthand versions alongside a photo diary. This means it is written out in easy to follow *Plain English* for those who cannot read patterns (like myself) AND there is a separate section for the shorthand, for those who can!
